Mrs. Brenda Ward Wallace, 72, of Marston passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at her home. She was born August 22, 1944, daughter of the late Corbett and Ruby Ward

Mrs. Wallace was retired from the textile industry, having worked at Legg’s- Sandhurst in Rockingham for thirty years. She was a member of Jesus First Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted 2:00 pm Friday, March 17th at Crestview Baptist Church with Rev. Robby Stewart officiating and Interment following at Richmond Memorial Park.

Mrs. Wallace is survived by her children, Donnie Wallace, Sr. (Jana) of Rockingham, Renee Christie (Mark) of Lexington, David Wallace of Rockingham, and Cindy Dove (David) of Marston; twelve grandchildren, Bryan Wallace (Shanda) of Lexington, Capt. Ryan Christie (Kelsey) of Birmingham, AL, Tiffany Reynolds (Justin) of New Bern, Jason Richardson of Rockingham, Jamie Richardson of Hamlet, Donnie Edward Wallace, Jr. of Rockingham, Dustin Blake Wallace of Rockingham, Dylan Alexander Wallace of Rockingham, Austin Ray Wallace of Rockingham,  Brendon Del Valle of Rockingham Tyler Dove of Marston, and Corey Dove of Marston; eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Burchfield of Union, OH, and a daughter-in-law, Laura Nance. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wallace, and a son, Joey Wallace.

The family receives friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Watson – King Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times at the Dove home, 124 Dove Circle, Marston.
