Kathleen Parsons, 88, of Wallace passed away Friday, February 17, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 20th at White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Hall and Rev. Richard Rainwater officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born May 20, 1928 in Marlboro County she was a daughter of the late Shuler and Hettie Haire Paul and wife of the late Rev. David Parsons.
Mrs. Parsons was the owner of Parsons Grocery, a member of White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church, a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Roberts, Kathy McLendon (Jack), and Gail Lyerly all of Wallace, one son, Paul Parsons of Wallace, one sister, Lizzie Watson of Chesterfield, two brothers Larry and S. J. Paul both of Wallace, five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet.
