Donald “Donnie” Polston,72, of Hamlet died Thursday, February 16, 2017. He was born July 20, 1944 in Marlboro County, SC, a son of the late Howard and Doris Jones Polston.

He worked several years Kelly-Springfield Tire Company.

He was preceded in death by his sister Juanita Polston.

A memorial service will be Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 A.M at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel in Rockingham with Rev. Buddy Caulder officiating.

Surviving, Two sons, Donald Polston and wife Monica of Wadesboro and Rodney Stutts of Lillington; Siblings, Betty Arnette of Aberdeen, Sylvia Chellis of Foxfire, Eugene Polston of Garner, Bill & Anna Polston of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jimmy & Jackie Polston of Seven Lakes, Richard Polston of Kelly, NC and Melvin & Gladys Fitzjohn of Havelock; Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
