William (Bill) Franklin Ward

William (Bill ) Franklin Ward, Jr., 61, of Rockingham passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Wednesday, June 13th at Roberdell Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Dennis officiating.
Born September 28, 1956 in Charlotte he was a son of William F. and Doris Treadway Ward.
Bill was a Salesperson for retail Grocery Stores and was a member of Roberdel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal Rippy Ward of Rockingham, one daughter, Lea Hall (Chris) of Marion, one son, Lin Ward, III (Jamie) of Valdese, one grandson, Ayden Ward, one step-daughter, Summer Holmes, one step-son, Wesley Hutchcraft both of Wayne City, IL, one step-sister, Margo Morganti of Hickory, two step-brothers, John Zimmerman of Morganton and Robert Zimmerman of Hickory, Mother and Father-in-law, Tom and Lillie Rippy of Rockingham, sister-in-law Leslie Black, two brothers-in-law, Allen Black and Scott Rippy, three nieces, Jenna, Jordan, and Tabithi Rippy, one nephew, Nathan Rippy, and his beloved dog, Buddy.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
