Vivian Gregory

With great sorrow, we mourn the death and celebrate the life of Vivian Ray Kelly Gregory. She was born August 16, 1934 and died December 29, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie Kelly Deese and Jesse Patrick Kelly; brother, Billy Kelly (killed in WWII), and sister, Doris Nichol.

She is survived by her four children Debbie Green (Randy) of Raleigh, NC; Greg Gregory of Raleigh, NC; Mark Gregory (Denise) of Rockingham, NC; and Jeff Gregory (Jacque) of Hamlet, NC; three grandsons Grey Gregory of Hamlet, NC; Zach Green (Kelsey) of Eugene, OR; and Drew Gregory (Erin) of Hamlet, NC; two great grandchildren, Jett and Gia Gregory of Hamlet, NC and four nephews.

Vivian was a strong and independent person. She loved children, literature, history, cats, walking, and anything turquoise.

To honor Vivian’s life, in lieu of flowers her family requests a donation be given to one’s choice of charity.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the entire staff of The William M. Dunlap Center for Caring (Hospice Home) in Raleigh, NC for their support, prayers, care, and understanding.
