Virginia Abrams

Virginia Lee Teal Abrams,82, of Rockingham passed away Friday, July 2, 2021 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. She was born August 20, 1938 in Scotland County, a daughter of the late Baxter Teal Sr., and Zula McGee Teal.
Mrs. Abrams retired from LOF Glass and was a long time member of Outreach For Jesus where she sung in the choir till her health declined. She loved to quilt, gardening and cooking. She enjoyed her animals.
She was preceded in death by her sons Randy Blake Abrams, Christopher Lee Abrams and brothers Bob Teal, John Teal, Tom Teal and Jerry Teal.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 12 noon at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel in Rockingham with Bishop Marvin Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery.
Surviving, A son Raymond Abrams; A daughter Terry Abrams Lovett and husband Marty; Sisters, Eva Sue Currie and Catherine Abrams; Grandchildren, Daymond Abrams, Wesley Abrams, Virginia LeAnn Johnson, Tim Abrams, Jody Abrams and Neal Beverly; Great grandchildren, Ethan Abrams, Haven Abrams, Lee Hale, Dawson Abrams, Tyson Abrams, Keeton Abrams, Ivy Marie Abrams and Josey Beverly.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11-12 noon prior to the service at the funeral home.
