Ms. Terry S. Garrison,68, of Hamlet passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Richmond Co. Hospice Haven. She was born February 3, 1949 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late George Clyde “Buddy” and Ruth Holland Scurry.

Terry graduated from Hamlet High School and attended Appalachian State University. She retired from CSX Railroad.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel in Hamlet with Dr. Allison Farrah officiating.

Surviving her sisters Linda Scurry of Chapel Hill, Susan Snead and Hope Pinero both of Blackshear, GA; niece Alicia Ruger and husband Jimmy; nephews, Joshua Garcia and Adam Snead; cousins, Donald and Jo Jenkins, Brenda and Don Newman, Danny and Cheryl Jenkins and Helen Smith; special caregivers Tracy Jenkins Sprankle and Avis Gillis.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 208 Charlotte St. Hamlet, NC 28345.
