Sylvia Skipper

Mrs. Sylvia Celeste Skipper, 62, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. She was born February 18, 1959 in Anson County, the daughter of Sylvia Braswell Skipper and the late Charles Skipper.

Sylvia was a loving and caring mother. She loved the beach and to travel. She was an Occupational Therapy Assistant with the Greens Rehabilitation and Living Center of Pinehurst.

Services will be conducted 3:00 pm Sunday, January 23rd at New Beginnings Christian Ministries, 670 Wiregrass Road, Hamlet.

Sylvia is survived by a daughter, Stacy Grant and husband Chris of Rockingham, and a son, Charles Duren and wife Amanda of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Mason Grant, Elijah Duren, Anthony Duren, Kristina Grant, and Jenna Grant, great grandchildren, Carson Rogers, Sophia Matlock, and Joseph Matlock, Jr.; and a brother, Charles Skipper, Jr. of Cheraw, SC.
