Ruby Parker Sellers of Rockingham, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017.
Born in Whiteville, North Carolina, Ruby was a daughter of the late L. O. Parker and Lillie Crib Parker, the youngest of nine children. Ruby worked in textile and later at Imperial Foods of Hamlet, a survivor of the Imperial Foods plant fire
She is survived by her children, sons Kenneth Sellers and Joey Sellers, both of Hamlet, daughter Sheryl Davis (Jimmy) of Rockingham; a brother, Floyd Parker of Milwaukee Wisconsin:, her grandchildren, Brandon Sellers, Chelsea Sellers, Eric Greene, Bryan Greene (Frances), Sandy Davis and Becky Thomas (Aaron); 14 great grandchildren and 4 great-greatgrandchildren. A Private ceremony will be held on Tuesday, August 29th to celebrate Ruby’s life.
