Roy Chalmer Duffy

Roy Chalmer Duffy,96, Rockingham passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Hamlet House. He was born November 20, 1924 in Blair County, PA a son of the late Sherman Chalmer and Mary Candace Koon Duffy.

Mr. Duffy served as a para trooper in US Army during WWII. Roy was salesman Hallum’s Furniture Store in Rockingham.

He was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Louise Duffy.
A graveside service will be conducted Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Richmond Co. Memorial Park with Rev. Dan Blair officiating. Due to COVID-19 please wear a face covering and continue to social distancing.

Surviving, His daughter, Linda Bayless and husband Bill of Hamlet.
