Robert Turner Talton Jr.

Robert Turner Talton,Jr. (Bobby), 70, of Rockingham passed away, Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his home. He was born November 10, 1950 in Wake County, a son of the late Robert Turner and Eva Joyce Wiggs Talton.

 Mr. Talton was a member of Roberdel Baptist Church and retired from CP&L/Progress Energy with 44 years of service and was currently working at Iron Horse Auction.

 The family will receive friends from 3:30-4:30 P.M. on Sunday, February 21, 2021 with a private service to begin at 4:30 P.M. at Roberdel Baptist Church, 1118 Richmond Rd Rockingham NC 28379 with Rev. Billy Dennis officiating. We ask you to please wear a mask and to continue social distancing.

 A Grave side service will be held on February 27, 2021 at 2pm at Aycock Family Cemetery 2630 Bizzel Grove Church Rd, Selma NC 27576.

Surviving his wife of 52 years, Jane Hines Talton; Three sons, Robert Talton III (Robby) and wife Deanna, Jason Talton and wife Kim and Clint Talton and wife Sarah; Grandchildren, Jason “JP” Talton, Jr. and wife Liz, Katie Talton Covello and husband Adam, Savannah Talton, Trent Talton, Austin Talton and Caleb Talton; A sister, Mary Joyce Blackley. And a Nephew Brian Blackley.
