Robert Thomas Sweatt

Robert Thomas Sweatt, 53, of Hamlet died Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at his home. He was born in Richmond County, a son of the late Lee Thomas Sweatt, Jr. and Mildred Suggs Sweatt.

Mr. Sweatt was an auto mechanic.

A private memorial service will be held at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet with Rev. Gary Richardson officiating.

Surviving, His fiancé , Amanda Brooms; His children, Amanda Dorsey, Will Sweatt, Savannah Herrick, Bobby Sweatt, Samantha Smith, Jennifer Smith, Kenzleigh Sweatt, Robert T. Sweatt Jr., Jamie Quick, Jr. and Gage Quick; Sisters, Rosemary Jeffrey, Rhonda Johnson, Rebecca Rachels, Regina Jenks, Romona Paoli and Barbara Jarvis; Brothers, Randy Jeffrey and Michael Soloman; Nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
