Robert L. "Bobby" Stewart Sr.

Robert L. “Bobby” Stewart, Sr. of Laurel Hill passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at his sister home. He was born in Richmond County, a son of the late Martin A. and Addie Louise Adcock Stewart.

He was graduated from Rohanen High School. Those that knew Bobby, will remember him for his wonderful sense of humor, his pitching abilities in both baseball and softball, his ability to work machinery all those years at Sara Lee and many other things. But his love of people and his willingness to help others no matter what, will stand out the most. He just loved everyone. But his wife Sandy the most. They are now together again with their Lord and Savior. His family and friends will miss him greatly but we have that blessed hope that we will see both of them one day.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra B. Stewart and brothers Buddy, Billy and Benny Stewart.

A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Crestview Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Childers, his son Pastor Robby Stewart and Pastor Eddie Hildreth officiating.

Surviving, A son, Robby Stewart(Vickie); Grandchildren, Dr. Kennedi Stewart Henry(Jared) and Jeremiah Stewart; Sister, Betty Ann Stewart Benham(Steve); Numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior to the service in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home of his son Robby 109 Pride Dr. Hamlet, NC 28345.
