Mr. Robert Hildreth, 74, of Rockingham passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at the home of his daughter. He was born January 9, 1945 in Richmond County, son of the late Lula Mae Teston Hildreth and Kitchen Ben Hildreth.
Mr. Hildreth was retired from Delta Mills in Wallace, where he was an inspector. He was a member of Lighthouse Ministries. Mr. Hildreth enjoyed fishing.
Services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, March 15th at Lighthouse Ministries Church in Wallace, SC with Rev. Charles Cox and Rev. Gary Richardson officiating and interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his son, Robert “Robbie” Hildreth, Jr. and partner, Damia Lee Mann; a daughter, Leslie Hildreth Smith and husband Freddie; grandchildren, Edward Hildreth, Kelly Hildreth, Paul McCormick, Dillon McCormick, Brandon McCormick, Nicholas McCormick, Tommy Smith, Andrew Smith, and Shaye Gavlin; and seven great grandchildren. Mr. Hildreth was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Hildreth.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet and other times at the home of his daughter, 382 Airport Road, Rockingham.
