Robert Bruce Goodwin, Jr.

Robert  Bruce Goodwin, Jr. faithful servant of God, Loving husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather passed away at the age of 80 on November 25th, 2018, surrounded by his wife, all of his children, grandchildren, great grandson, and extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Bruce Goodwin and mother, Retha T. Goodwin; sisters, Roberta Thomas and Betty Gregory.  He is survived by his wife Nadine C. Goodwin; children, Terry Goodwin, Greg Goodwin (Liza), Robert Bruce Goodwin, III (Tracy),  Brittain Storey (David), Kiestler Clontz, and Zann Cain (Craig); grandchildren, Dane, Tom, Eli, Robbie B. IV, Katie, Sarah, Caleb, Emily, Anna, Jace, Andrew, Eliza, Liam, Brooks, Jacob, Addison, Conner, Hayden, Nathan, and Jacob; one great grandson, Noah.

He would like to be remembered as a man who loved and cared for people.

He loved his Lord and worshiped him daily.  He was a man with an inquisitive mind that hungered to learn more about his Lord until the very end.

The visitation was held on Tuesday the 27th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Crestview Baptist Church in Rockingham.

Funeral services were conducted  2:00 p.m. on Wednesday the 28th at Crestview Baptist Church with Robby Stewart officiating.  Burial followed at Richmond County Memorial Park.
