Robert E. Floyd, Jr., (Rod) of Wilmington, formerly of Rockingham, passed away on November 8th, 2017. He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Floyd; mother, Meltha Floyd; brothers,  Bubba (Cindy), Phil (Alex), and Scott (Julie); and sister, Lisa Berryhill. He was predeceased by his father, Robert E. Floyd, Sr.

Rod was a true Renaissance man with many interests and talents. He was an avid photographer, loved to fish, enjoyed woodworking, making furniture, working with antiques, and was an accomplished artist. He loved spending time with his family and friends, listening to classic rock music, and learning about new things. He will be missed as a son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

A time of remembrance to celebrate Rod's life will be held at Watson - King Funeral Home in Rockingham on Saturday, November 11, with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm and service to follow.
