Rhonda Holmes Pate

Rhonda Gail Pate, 65, of Rockingham, North Carolina passed away at First Health Moore Regional May 24th, 2023. Rhonda was born in Robeson County December 15th, 1957.

Rhonda was a hardworking woman that enjoyed many passions in life. Prior to starting her family, Rhonda worked for many years as a CNA at Care Inn. Outside of work, she loved to cook and clean. Rhonda loved and adored her grandchildren, taking care of them meant the world to her. Rhonda was a loving and hardworking woman that many will miss.

Rhonda is predeceased by her mother Ruby Ann Lassiter, her sister Deborah McGlothen, and a special friend Kenneth Wayne Batton.

Rhonda is survived by her father William Lassiter; daughters Dana Pate Childs, of Rockingham, Kimberly Pate, of Indian Trail, and Linda Salunke of Anna, Texas; siblings Betty Barfield (Hal) of Laurinburg, Clayton Holmes (Joe) of Hamlet; grandchildren Alyssa Pate, Angel Pate, Erica Dominquez, Juan Dominquez, Jamisyn Pate, Malaysia Childs, Nirali Salunke, and Makayla Taylor.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 3rd at 12:00 P.M. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham with Ken Lyerly Officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation following the service.
