Peggy L. Coward, 75, of Rockingham passed away on Tuesday June 20, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday June 23rd, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Rockingham with Rev. Mike Sykes and Rev. Allison Farrah officiating.
Born July 7, 1941 in Anson County she was a daughter of the late James and Effie Phillips Cooper and was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Cooper
Mrs. Coward was a homemaker, a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother, and was a member of First United Methodist Church
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Louis Coward of Rockingham, one son, David Louis Coward (Nikki) of Rockingham, two brothers, Tommy Cooper (Rosalyn) of Hamlet and Jimmy Cooper (Sandy) of Wilmington, two grandchildren, Abbey and Matt Coward.
The family will be receiving friends starting at 9:45 a.m. on Friday at the church.
