Paul H. Wallace

Paul H. Wallace,91, of Rockingham, died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at UNC Health Care in Chapel Hill. He was born February 10, 1927 in Richmond County, NC, a son of the late Jesse D. and Maude Grooms Wallace.
He was preceded in death by an infant son Michael Paul; the brothers and one sister.
Mr. Wallace graduated from Hamlet High School and was a member of East Rockingham United Methodist Church. He served in US Army and Air Force and was an Insurance salesman with Pilot Life for many years.
A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at East Rockingham United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Griswold officiating.
Surviving, Wife of 69 years, Ruth Anderson Wallace of the home; Numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-3 P.M. prior to the service at the church.
