Paul Frye, Sr.

Paul Frye, Sr.,78, of Rockingham passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. He was born January 11, 1943 in Richmond County, a son of the late William Henry Frye, Sr. and Pearl Collins Frye.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, Eldridge Frye, William Henry Frye Jr., and Ernestine Dawkins. Mr. Frye retired from Unimin Sand Plant. He was a member of McDonald Baptist Church where served as a deacon.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Surviving, His wife, Candy Frye; Sons, Joe Frye and wife Jennifer, Paul Frye Jr. and wife Tina, Shawn Frye and wife Kelly, Timothy Frye, Tim Upperman all of Rockingham and Kirk Upperman and wife Vivian of Wisconsin. A brother, James Frye of Rockingham, A sister, Jocelyn Osioro of Hamlet. 5 grandchildren, Keanu, Mikala , Matthew, Amanda, Andrew and Numerous nieces and nephews.
