Meredith Jane Bryant, 79, of Rockingham passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7th in Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel in Rockingham. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Born September 16, 1938 in Colorado Springs, CO she was the daughter of the late Dr. Mark F. Bryant and Virginia Stockdale Bryant.
Jane was a Sales Clerk for many years at American Office Equipment, then she graduated from Richmond Community College with a degree in Human Services and worked for Rainbow House Shelter for Battered Women and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Meredith Campbell of Rockingham, one son, Marcus Campbell of Greensboro, two granddaughters, Kristen Leigh Mendez and Kelsey Noel Campbell, and one great grandson, Emerson Lee Mendez.
