Mary Katherine Garrison, 85, of Rockingham passed away Monday, February 12, 2018.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14th at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Childers and Rev. Joe Wilkes officiating.
Born October 15, 1932 in Richmond County she was a daughter of the late Monnie and Etta Watts Covington, wife of the late Earl L. Garrison and was preceded in death by a son, Allen Garrison.
Mrs. Garrison worked in the cafeteria at Richmond Senior High School.
She is survived by one daughter, Julie Bullard (James) of Rockingham, two sons, Wayne Garrison (Teresa) of Rockingham and Thomas Garrison (Rena) of Wadesboro, four sisters, Elsie Wilson of Rockingham, Dorlene Joyner and Margaret Seal both of Wilmington, Edith Valentine of New Milford, CT, one brother, Joe Covington of Rockingham, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 13th at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham.
