Mrs. Martha “Marty” Thomas,46, of Rockingham passed away August 17, 2018. She was born in Richmond County, a daughter of Bobby Legrand Honeycutt, Sr. and Lorraine English Honeycutt.
Marty enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and loved helping others. She was a devoted homemaker and was in the process of having her very own cook book published.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Wilkes officiating. Entombment will follow at Richmond Co. Memorial Park.
Surviving her husband, Michael Thomas of the home; Children, Whitney Nicole Thomas, Jonathan Dean Honeycutt both of Rockingham and Michael Christopher Anderson of Virginia; Grandchildren, Jonathan Elisha Zane Honeycutt, Sophia Lauren Thomas and Liam Michael Wayne Thomas; Her parents, Bobby L Honeycutt and Lorraine English Honeycutt of Rockingham; Sibling, Timothy Grayson Honeycutt, Kathryn Darlene Ratra, Honore Roxanne Quick, Michael Legrand Honeycutt, Bobby Legrand Honeycutt, Jr. and Scottie Lynette Wallace all of Rockingham; Brother-in-law, Chuck Quick of Bennettsville; And numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham.
