Lorene Ussery Tucker

Lorene Ussery Tucker, 87, of Hoffman passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. She was born August 9, 1930 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Zack and Mary McDonald Ussery.

Mrs. Tucker retired from Richmond Co. School System where worked as a teacher assistant and drove a school bus.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Willis Tucker, Sr. on March 18, 2018.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel in Rockingham with Rev. Dena White officiating.

Surviving, Her children, John Willis Tucker, Jr of West End, Karen (Donald) Carriker of Robbins and Debbie Franklin of Hoffman. Grandchildren, Adam (Michele) Franklin, Zack Tucker, Jack (Allison) Franklin, Hannah Carriker and Heath Carriker. Great grandchildren, Tucker McCoy Franklin and Harper Lillian Franklin.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the Franklin home 107 Bracey St. Hoffman.
