Mrs. Marcia Kay James Aycoth, 65, passed away Saturday,  July 22,  2017 at her home.  She was born August 23,  1951 in Anson County, daughter of the late Earl and Daisy Faulkner James.
Mrs. Aycoth was retired from the Morrison Correctional facility in Hoffman.   She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and ”Granny”.
 
 She is survived by three daughters, Sandy Aycoth (Rick Caskey) of Lancaster, SC, Cindy Martin (Allen) of Rockingham, and Gwen Aycoth of Rockingham, six grandchildren, Kristin Hair, Taylor Loftus, A. J. and Conner Martin, William and Ashley Haywood;  four great grandchildren; siblings, Joann Cribbs of Norwood, Bobby James of Red Springs, and Nina Morrison (Charles) of Rockingham; a special niece and nephews, Tammy Bates, Al McCormick,  and Sonny Aycoth.  She  was preceded in death by her husband of forty seven years,  Carroll Aycoth in January; and brothers, Roger James and Gary James.
 
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Watson - King Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times at the home.
