Lois Kay Dawkins

Lois Kay Dawkins,73, of Hamlet passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hsopital. She was born September 19, 1947 a daughter of the late Jesse James and Lois Jean Brigman Billings.

Mrs. Dawkins worked at Richmond Memorial Hospital and Richmond Co. Daily Journal. She was a member of the East Rockingham Methodist Church growing up. She was home bound in her last few years but had always tried to help others when she could.

She was preceded in death by her only son Dondi Dawkins.

A memorial service will be Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wesley Holmes officiating.

Surviving her sister, Susan Willis of Newport, NC. She is also survived by one uncle, Jack Brigman of Hamlet and cousins Robert Brigman of Hamlet, Rodney Brigman of Harkers Island, NC and Ellen Dale Johnson of Gloucester, NC.
