February 20, 2021 10:26 AMUncle Layton was the last of our Mother’s (Addie Allen Wilson) siblings. He was a sweet man that loved to play the piano and sing. He was very good at both and we loved to hear him doing what he loved best. Although we didn’t get to visit him as often as we wanted, we loved to hear him talk about his family (his children and his siblings) the good old days. We talked often on the phone. If he didn’t answer, he would always say later make sure you leave a message so that I know who called. We had planned to go see him last year but couldn’t make it because of the COVID-19 fiasco.
He was loved and will surely be missed.
