Kathy Diane Saunders, 67, of Hamlet passed away Monday, August 21, 2017.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 24th, 2017 at the Saunders home at 604 Cherry Street in Hamlet.
Born December 22, 1949 in Laurinburg she was a daughter of the late George and Nell McManus Weatherford.
Kathy worked for the Richmond County Tax Office, was a Hairdresser, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jimmie Saunders, one daughter Mandy Yates, one son, Jason Saunders both of Hamlet, one sister, Carol Smart of TN, two grandchildren, Leslie Walters and Ravyn Saunders, one great grandson, Trenton Bowers.
Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet is assisting the Saunders family.
