Jodi Williams Harrell

Jodi Williams Harrell,49, of Cordova passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at her home. She was born January 11, 1973 in Scotland County, a daughter of James and Debbie Gilmore Williams.
She graduated from Richmond Senior High class of 1991. She worked at Burlington Industries and FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. Jodi loved baking cakes. She never met a stranger. She was a volunteer at Friend to Friend in Carthage. She was a complete Daddy’s girl. She battled MS for 12 years and never complained. She never stopped fighting. In her words “I’m Fine”. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Hamlet.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet with Rev. Ray Morton and Rev. Jimmy Williams officiating. Burial will follow Zion Circle Church Cemetery.
Surviving, Her husband, Benjie Harrell of Cordova; Children, Jordan Williams of Cordova, Jonathan Harrell of Carthage, Jamie Harrell of Cordova, Ben Harrell of Raeford and Taylor Jones of Fayetteville; Her parents, James and Debbie Williams; A brother, Rev. Jimmy Williams and wife Susan of Carolina Shores; Special sister Nikki Reid of Laurel Hill. Nine grandchildren. Two nieces Katie Maines and Kelsey Williams of Carolina Shores.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
