Jerry Allen “Jay” Parker,54, of Rockingham passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. He was born September 23, 1966 in Richmond County, a son of the late Edward M. Parker and Ruby Prevatte.
Jay was a member of Roberdel Baptist Church. He worked several years as an Radio Personality at WLWL Big Wave Radio 770 am and WAYN 900 AM. He volunteer at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. He was loved by many and he was known locally for his radio voice and his big heart.
A memorial service will be Monday, February 22, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Roberdel Baptist Church wiith Rev. Billy Dennis officiating. Please wear a mask and to continue social distancing.
Surviving, A sister, Lisa Saunders of North Myrtle Beach,SC; A brother, Roy Wayne Parker of North Myrtle Beach,SC.
