Jean Smith Davidson

Jean Smith Davidson,83, of Rockingham passed away peacefully August 25th 2023 at her home following a long illness. She was born September 27, 1939 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late James Leon and Ersel Carriker Smith.
Jean was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church and retired from Richmond Federal Saving and Loan after 46 years.
She was preceded in death by a brother Charles Smith.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Beverly Hills Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 12:30-1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the Family Life Center.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Phil Davidson of Rockingham; Children, Beth Crouch (Brad) and Jeffrey Davidson (Kelli) all of Pinehurst; Grandchildren, Katie Stafford (Bryan), Bennett Crouch, Logan Davidson and Haleigh Davidson all of Pinehurst; Sisters, Debbie Berry (Clay) of Newberry, SC and Martha Dabbs of Rockingham;
