Jayne Barnhardt Burns

Jayne Barnhardt Burns,81, of Hamlet passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. She was born April 11, 1940 in Bumcombe County, NC, a daughter of the late Joseph B. and Ilda Hupp Barnhardt.
Mrs. Burns was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hamlet. She was retired RN having worked at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital and Scotland Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Irvin Burns.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Hamlet with Dr. Allison Farrah officiating.
Surviving, A son, Robert Burns and wife Brenda of Hamlet; A daughter, Cynthia Smith of Hamlet; Grandsons, Jeffrey Smith and Joseph Singletary both of Hamlet; A sister Betty Jo Cagle of Hendersonville.
