Jamie Lynch McDuffie

Jamie Lynch McDuffie, 53 of Hamlet, NC lost her battle with cancer and passed away on October 23, 2022 at Richmond Co. Hospice Haven. She was born in Richmond County, NC to James Lynch and Nora Knox on July 16, 1969.

She was a member of Sweet Haven Church in Rockingham. Jamie worked in health care for many years.

Jamie is preceded in death by her father James Lynch, brother Woody Lynch, step-brother Lance Knox, Maternal grandparents, Roy and Veda Goodwin and Paternal grandparents, Caleb and Daisy Lynch.

Jamie is survived by her husband of 30 years Jim McDuffie of Hamlet; A daughter, Jessica McDuffie of Hamlet; Her mother Nora Knox (step-dad Jackie “Monk”) of Cordova, Janet Lynch (Step-mother) of Hamlet, Sister Sandra Lynch of Cordova, Step-sister Laura Brewer of Cape Carteret, NC; Many nieces and nephews and other family and friends whom she loved very much.

A memorial service will be conducted Friday, October 28, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel in Hamlet with Pastor Doug Anderson and Pastor Kane McKenzie officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 prior to the service at the funeral home. Family will receive friends at the family home in Hamlet.
