James “Jim/Flash” Gordon, 73, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at his home. He was born July 31, 1945 in Charlotte, a son of the late James Gordon and Olive Pankey.
Flash was a veteran in the United States Air Force and retired from CSX. Flash had a LOVE for his antiques and horse trading. He was a loving husband, daddy, grandfather, brother, uncle, son, and friend.
A celebration of his life will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Cordova Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Anderson and Pastor Lee Griffith officiating and interment to follow in Richmond County Memorial Park with military honors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna Baucom Gordon; and a sister, Diane Flowe.
Surviving are his children, Terry Lloyd, Laura Poole, Misty Campbell, Mary Anna Cox, Barbara Kay Fulp, and Tammy Smith; grandchildren, Briana, Makayla, Grayson, McKenzie, Ashley, Tori, Maxie, Tyler, Austin, Keith, Drake, Meredith, Madison, Gaby, Leon, and Julie; great grandchildren, Callan, Jaxson, Tray, Lele, Conner, Reece, Tyler, Leah, Kyle and Bentley; and stepmother, Pauline Gordon.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 10th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Cordova Baptist Church and other times at the home.
