Isabelle W. Strider

Isabelle W. Strider,89, of Rockingham passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020 at her home. She was born June 10, 1930 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late John Wesley and Glenn Seawell Williams. Mrs. Strider was preceded in death her husband, Colon Strider.

Mrs. Strider is survived by two daughters, Marsha Dyson and husband Lyn of Rockingham and Jennifer Lampley (Dink – Deceased) of Bessemer City, NC; Two grandchildren, Amber Phillips (Tommy) and Robert Johnson, Jr. (Amber); Nine great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. A sister, Polly Ward of Rockingham. The love between these two was unconditional. She also had many nieces and nephews that were very special to her.

Mrs. Strider was a member of East Rockingham United Methodist Church. She was a retired beautician.

Due to the COVID-19 a private graveside service will be held this week at Eastside Cemetery with Rev. Eric Joyce officiating.

The family would also lie to recognize, Ivory Pore for her services as caregiver for Mrs. Strider.
