Hubert P. Peele

Hubert Perry Peele,86, of Ocean Isle Beach formerly of Hamlet passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at his daughter's house in Hamlet. He was born June 19, 1934 in Scotland County, a son of the late Sammy and Lena Wallace Peele.

Mr. Peele served US Navy and was a retired diesel mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Robinson Peele.

A graveside service will be Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery in Hamlet with Rev. Dwight Reeves officiating. Due COVID-19 please make sure to wear a mask and continue to social distancing. A public viewing without the family present will be held Thursday and Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet.

Surviving, A daughter, Pamela Williams of Hamlet; Two sons, James Peele and Sammie Peele and wife Teri both of Hamlet; Stepdaughter, Jennifer Williams of Cordova; A sister, Louise Morton of Jacksonville, NC; Grandchildren, Joshua Zamarripa of Hamlet, Nina Vo of Hamlet, Brandon Van Buren of Hamlet, Zack Peele of Charlotte and Jacob Williams of Cordova; Nine great grandchildren.
