Glenda G. Alfonso

Glenda G. Alfonso,64, of Rockingham passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Richmond Co. Hospice Haven. She was born October 17, 1956 in Richmond County a daughter of Barbara Bennett Gardner and the late William Gardner.
She worked for the Richmond County School System for 28 years. She loved spending time with her grandkids. 
A graveside service will be Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Bear Branch cemetery with Rev. Jack Lee officiating. Due to COVID-19 please wear face mask and continue social distancing.
She leaves behind a husband of 40 years, Richard Alfonso, a daughter Sonja Buchanan and her husband Stephen, a son Christopher Alfonso and his wife Sara, 4 grandkids that she loved dearly, Paige and J.R. and his wife Dallas Rushing, Camden and Cutler Alfonso, and a great granddaughter Allie Rose And a Godson Gene Gardner. Her mother Barbara Gardner and 6 siblings and many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Duke.
