Gerald Roger Baucom

Gerald Baucom,84, of Rockingham passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his home. He was born December 1, 1936 in Kenbridge, VA, a son of the late Herman Wilson and Buna Clem Baucom.
Mr. Baucom retired from Clark Equipment. He enjoyed Nascar Racing, Pittsburgh Steeler and attending Richmond Raider Football games.
He was preceded in death by grandchildren Matthew & Michael Baucom and Brittney Rene Baucom, sisters Nancy, Lydia, Anna, Alice and Barbara Kay, brothers Herman, Jr,. and James.
Surviving, His wife of 63 years, Martha Baucom; His children, Pamela B. Thomas(Ralph), Roger Baucom(Mitzi) and Keith Baucom(Kitty); A brother, Harry Baucom; Grandchildren, Heather Rivers(Jason), Garrett Lee(Chasity), Ashlee McQueen(Steven), Brandi Cook(Jake), Ethan Baucom and Brett Baucom; 12 great grandchildren; Numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Darwin Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Northam Cemetery Extension.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-7 P.M. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham.
