Mrs. Frances “Peanut” Skipper. 68, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019 at her home. She was born August 18, 1951 in Richmond County, daughter of the late John and Mary Elizabeth Jones Skipper.
Mrs. Skipper was a loving grandmother. She had caring heart and a genuine love for others. Mrs. Skipper had an affection for her neighbors and liked to do things for them at the Live Oaks Apts. She liked to watch Dr. Charles Stanley and enjoyed his ministry.
A service to celebrate Mrs. Skipper’s life will be conducted at 12:00 pm Friday, November 8th in the chapel of Watson – King Funeral Home in Hamlet. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home starting at 11:00 am and other times at the home of her sister, Betty Lou Fuller.
Mrs. Skipper is survived by a son, John Rouse of Laurinburg; a daughter, Beth Jordan of Myrtle Beach, SC; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Blake Jordan of Rockingham and Shane Tyson of Hamlet; a sister, Betty Lou Fuller of Hamlet; two nieces, Nicole Fuller Blake and husband Mark and their son Noah of Hamlet and Kim Fuller Smith and husband Jason and their children Rachel, Ava, and Andrew of Cornelia, GA.
