Flora Steele, 99, of Poca, WV and formerly of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Cabell Health Care Center in Culloden, WV.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Monday, December 4th in the chapel at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Bobby Haney and Rev. David Shankle officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Steele had worked for Mutual Mill and Arlington Mill in Gastonia and was a member of West Rockingham Church of God.

Mrs. Steele was preceded in death by her parents, Manley and Mattie Leviner Jones; husband, George Henry Steele; a daughter, Becky Wilson; a son, James Steele; two granddaughters, Robyn Therrell and Sissy Wilson, and a great grandson, Tigger Wilson.

Surviving are two daughters, Doretha Duncan (Max) of Poca, WV and Ollie Therrell (Bill) of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Mattie Wheaton of Rockingham; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
