Ethel Marie McIntyre

Ethel Marie McIntyre, 94, of Florence passed away Monday, October 29, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1st in the Chapel at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet with Rev. Jerry Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond County Memorial Park.
The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born August 31, 1924 in Salisbury she was a daughter of the late David William and Mattie Penegar Busby and wife of the late Alfred Pete McIntyre and Herbert W. Howell. She is preceded in death by a sister, LaVerne Eaker, a son, Herbert W. Howell, Jr. and a brother, David W. (Bill) Busby.
Mrs. McIntyre was a retired Licensed Practicing Nurse.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Howell Bailey (Robert) of Effingham, SC, step-son, Robin McIntyre of Pinehurst, one sister, Ann Thompson of Hamlet, a daughter-in-law, Mary Milstead Lindsey (Mark) five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Roberdel Baptist Church, Rockingham, NC 28379.
