Mrs. Estelle Reynolds Perkins, 86, of Rockingham passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at Pruitt Health in Rockingham. She was born November 27, 1931 in Anson County, daughter of the late Bertha Beatrice Meacham and Walter Glenn Reynolds.
Mrs. Perkins was an active member of Rockingham Wesleyan Church. She was a homemaker, that loved her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to cook, work in her yard, and had a passion for flowers.
A service to celebrate Mrs. Perkins life were conducted graveside 11:00 am Saturday, April 28th at Richmond Memorial Park in Rockingham with Rev. David Rollins officiating. The family had visitation Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Watson – King Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times at the home.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by her children, Linda Pence and husband Winfred of Rockingham, Kermit Perkins, Jr. and wife Wendy of Rockingham, and Mary Perkins-Singh and husband Sushil of Winterville, NC; grandchildren, Freddie (Allison) Pence, Amanda (Webster) Lyons, Stephanie Barnes, Whitney (Brandon) Herndon, Brittney (Junior Parker) Perkins, and Ryan Singh; great grandchildren, Raven Pence, Dalton Herndon, Gavin Barnes, Shane Moore, and Destiny Parker; siblings, Maie Bowman of Norman, Eddie (Joyce) Reynolds of Candor, and Libby Kelly of Troy; and a host of nieces and nephews.. Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Perkins, Sr., and siblings, Bill Reynolds, Marjorie Jones, Herbert Reynolds, and Nancy Best.
