Ernest Lewis Davis,96, of Rockingham passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Richmond Co. Hospice Haven. He was born April 25, 1925 in Greenwood, SC, a son of the late Ernest Lee and Regina Duff Davis.
He was preceded in death by his son Lewis Davis.
Mr. Davis served his country in US Marines and graduated from University of Clemson. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Ernest retired from Burlington Industries as manager of Production, Planning and Control.
A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church in Rockingham with Dr. Allison Farrah officiating.
Surviving wife of 71 years, Ramona Davis of the home; Daughters, Rae Cochran Fea and husband Chris and Patti Weller and husband Al; Grandchildren, Matthew Cochran and wife Catherine, Philip Cochran and wife Paige, Andrew Weller and wife Hillary and Allie Weller Oxtoby and husband Jamie; Nine great grandchildren.
