Dorothy Reynolds

Dorothy “Dotsy" Rebecca Jane Reynolds of Rockingham went to her heavenly home Tuesday, July 6, 2022 at Richmond County Hospice Haven. She was born in Mecklenburg County, the daughter of the late O.G. and Iva Carpenter Reynolds.

Dotsy graduated from Greensboro College. She worked in Raleigh for  a few years as a social worker before moving to Rockingham. She was an active member of  First United Methodist Church in Rockingham serving in many capacities. She also worked with the Richmond County Crisis Telephone Line. 

Left to cherish Miss Dotsy's fond memories are her cousins, her caregivers, her church family,and her close neighbors.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 8, 2022  11:00 a.m. at  First United Methodist Church in Rockingham with Rev. Darrell Bowles officiating. Burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 -11:00 am at the church.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 410 E. Washington St. Rockingham, NC 28379.
