Doris H. Denney

Doris Denney of Rockingham North Carolina passed away in her home with her three daughters by her side on November 23, 2021 at the age of 92.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Deborah Rogers Taylor  (Michael) of Columbia South Carolina, Gwen Carpunky Webb of Rockingham, Terri Denney LaRue (Michael) of Kernersville North Carolina.

Grandchildren Austin Rogers (Kim) of Goose Creek South Carolina, Lauren R. McCabe (Shawn) of Charlotte North Carolina, Carie Carpunky of Rockingham and Taylor W. Cox (Allen) of Hamlet, North Carolina.

Great-grandchildren: Trenton Carpunky  of Rockingham Owen and Caroline Rogers of Goose Creek South Carolina. Juliana, Darcy, & Nora McCabe of Charlotte North Carolina.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Don, of 63 years. Her parents Eva Carl and Roxie Hart along with her six siblings.

She was born in Chatham County North Carolina, married and moved to Rockingham in 1959. She was employed by Hanes Hosiery Inc. Sandhurst plant where she retired.
Friends may visit Watson King Funeral Home in Rockingham from 9 a.m. till 12 p.m on Sunday November 28, 2021.The family will have a graveside service to honor Doris at  2 p.m. at Richmond Memorial Park with Dr. Allison Farrah officiating.
