Cheryl Venable West,71, of Rockingham passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Richmond Co. Hospice Haven. She was born April 8, 1947 in Montgomery County, to Marvin Venable and Mary Lois Jeffries Coan.
Mrs. West was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ronnie Venable and Tony Venable.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet with Rev. Ken Lyerly officiating.
Surviving: Her husband Henry West of Rockingham; A son, Steven Bennett West of Georgia; Grandchildren, Destiny Marie West, Justin Bennett West both of Rockingham and Naomi Rose West of Georgia; Sisters, Sandra Hall and Larry of Sanford and Lori Williams and Gary of Hamlet; A brother, Rick Venable of Charlotte; Sister in-laws, Carole Venable of Hamlet and Charlene Venable of Rockingham; Numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. West, a housewife, enjoyed floral design and playing cards. She also enjoyed spending time with family and short road trips to Georgia.
