Darin Ollis

Mr. Darin Edward Ollis, 49, passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 at his home.

Darin loved to make people laugh.  He loved his jobs at Therapeutic Alternatives and Journey Counseling. He loved NC State and the Carolina Panthers or just sitting around with his mom talking about football. 
He loved going to movies and sharing popcorn with his daughter. He was a wonderful person and he loved his family. 

A service to celebrate Darin’s life will be conducted 4:00 pm Thursday, October 3rd in the chapel of Watson – King Funeral Home in Hamlet with Rev. Billy Dennis officiating. The family will have visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Paul and Paula Knecht, 227 Lakeview Trail., Rockingham.

Darin is survived by his wife, Pam Knecht Ollis; daughter, Elizabeth; mother, Faye Woods Ollis; father, John Ollis and his wife Brenda; and his brother, Tom Ollis and his wife Lisa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 101 Old Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517.
