Clifford Harvey Hayes

Clifford Harvey Hayes,95, of Hamlet passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. He was born January 17, 1926 in Moore County a son of the late Charlie and Ella Bean Hayes.

Mr. Hayes retired from the Textile Industry after 40 years. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Beatrice Daniel and Edith Jacobs.
A funeral service will be conducted Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Second Baptist Church Gymnasium with Rev. Chris Hawks officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Co. Memorial Park.

Surviving, His wife of 69 years, Faye Peele Hayes; A daughter, Anna Lee Jenkins (Fred) of Rockingham; A son, Alton Hayes (Susan) of Hamlet; Four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; Sisters, Mary Allen of Rockingham and Brenda Peele of Hamlet; Brothers, Rev. Dannie Hayes of Pinelevel, NC and L.C. Hayes of Hamlet.
The family will receive friends following the burial at the cemetery.
