Charles Ray Webb Jr.

Charles Ray Webb, Jr. 64, of Hamlet passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. He was born May 17, 1958 in Richmond County, a son of the late Charles Ray Webb, Sr. and Katie Tarlton Webb.

Ray worked for Tarlton Boat Company, L&L Cleaners and American Cleaners. He was a faithful member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church for 41 years and serving in many capacities. He loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed cooking out with family and friends. He adored is granddaughters and love spending time with them.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Faith Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Osborn and Rev. David Lee officiating.

Surviving, His wife of 45 years, Martha Williams Webb of the home; A son, Trey Webb and wife Laura of Hamlet; Granddaughters, Alexis Burdick and Rebekah Webb of Hamlet; Brothers, John Webb of Hamlet and Bruce Webb and wife Joanie of Rockingham; Extended family David & Louise Millen of Lake Tillery, Paul & Linda Williams of Hamlet and Jolene Williams of Hamlet; Numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Faith Freewill Baptist Church and at other times his home 155 Country Rd. Hamlet.
