Cathy Thrower Rhyne

Cathy Thrower Rhyne, 65, of Granite Quarry passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday September 21, 2019 in the chapel at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born July 8, 1954 in Richmond County she was a daughter of the late Earl Thrower and Shirley Webb.
Cathy was a former CNA for Richmond County Hospice.
She is survived by two daughters, Kristy Floyd Macdougall of Fulton, NY and Dana Floyd Wallace (Dale) of Rockingham; two sons, Edward Clay Floyd of Ellerbe and Martin Alexander Rhyne of Granite Quarry;  two step-sons, James Ross Kerns, Jr. of Salisbury and Robert (Skipper) Rhyne of Ohio; three sisters, and thirteen grandchildren.
